VTG Cameo Medallion Pendant Necklace on 24" 925 Sterling Chain FREE SHIP JCS

Description: VTG HCT 925 Sterling 24" Herringbone Chain Faux Coin Cameo Pendant Necklace, 24g with FREE SHIPPING.Chain is stamped "HCT 925 Canada" and acid scratch tests positive for sterling.Pendant appears to have been a brooch that was skillfully converted to a pendant. There are two visible areas where the pin would have been, but they have been smoothed and textured to match the rest of the back. There are no signs that the bale has been added/modified. There are no marks on the pendant and MY OPINION is that it was silver plated after it was modified.Very good vintage condition with normal signs of wear related to age and use. Vintage metal pieces (Sterling, Copper, Gold) have not been cleaned. We gently wipe with a polishing cloth thereby allowing the buyer to determine the level of patina they desire.We are not gemologists and opinions provided on stones and gems are based on our limited knowledge and scope of our testing equipment.
