Description: This charming W. Goebel Goose Girl doll was given to me when I lived in Germany as a child back in the early 60s. is a must-have for collectors of vintage MJ Hummel items. The head, arms and legs are movable and made of rubber and the body is made of plastic. The hand has a hole where the stick went through (to gather her geese, which are not included.) this 11.5-inch doll features brown vinyl hair, brown eyes and removable clothes. The set includes an outfit (apron, dress, scarf, slip, shoes, socks, undergarment and the doll itself. The shoes have the Hummel label on the underside and in mint condition. The one-piece under garment has a tiny hole in the back. The slip has some rust staining on the inside. (See pxs) There are no other rips in the clothing. The dress and scarf have some fading. The scarf, dress and apron have the Hummel label sewn in. This 10-piece collectible doll is a rare find from early 1960s Germany. The geese didn't survive but disintegrated over time. It has brown eyes and hair, and the delicate features make it a beautiful addition to any collection. I hope it goes to someone who also loves Hummels.
