Vintage 1960s Escor English Single Seat Wooden Sports Car

Description: This is a 1960s vintage Escor wooden toy car made in England. It's a bit of an unusual variant, in that it's a single seat red sports car. Overall condition of the car is good for a 50 plus year old toy. There are rub marks, and dents in the paint (see photos) but no cracks or chips in the wood, and the wheels are tight and straight. Our driver has suffered a bit more. Decent sized chunks of the flesh colored paint is missing, as well as smaller pieces of the blue body (see photos 6,7 and 8), but again the wood has no chips or cracks. Overall, I think it's a pretty good toy for it's age, it's a bit less common than most and it has entertained a lot of kids in my family over the years. Time for a new child to enjoy it!
