Description: Vintage 1940s 2 pc suit by famous Hollywood designer Irene Lentz. 2 pieces consist of a classic jacket and skirt, but with lots of great detailing. Curved princess seaming is trimmed with a button, mimicking a giant pocket. Rounded pieces from underneath the shawl collar meet at the center front and create what looks like a heart. These rounded details are complimented by scalloped sleeves. The skirt even has a decorative rounded seam at the back. The material is a soft and luxurious cocoa brown wool blend in a textured faille-like textile. Original 'Irene' label. Jacket- 42" bust, 30" waist, 16.5" shoulder, 26.5" length. Skirt- 30” waist, 43” hips, 30” long. Being sold as found with a few tiny pinholes and tiny spots, but otherwise completely wearable.
