This lens is a copy of the Zeiss Sonnar telephoto formula, popular for adaptation to mirrorless digital cameras for filmmaking, while still retaining some of the character. These Soviet lenses are well known from the retooled copies used in the production of Dune 2. This is a very early production copy of the Tair 11 lens from the KMZ factory. This early version of the lens has an M39 mount and requires an M39-M42 adapter to mount on M42 cameras and adapters. This adapter is ALREADY INSTALLED so this example is already adapted to the M42 thread The lens comes with a metal front and plastic rear lens cap.
