Previous years used a exposed, brass radiator. Ive used a gullwing cap with a Motometer but unfortunately, my filler neck has come loose twice in the last year and had to be soldered back on. I purchased a flanged neck hoping it would allow me to keep using the heavier gullwing/Motometer cap. The original radiator neck is mounted very close to the front of the radiator so the flange of this unit would extend over the edge. I purchased it hoping I could cut the front edge off the flange off and still solder it in place but the underside of the flange is not flat all the way across so this was not possible. I returned it....with shipping, a lesson that cost me over $30. It would be nice if a flanged neck that fits an original radiator was available...Id buy it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, this isnt the one.
