Please look closely at the pictures for the certification year for the BCP and the hymnal year if that is important for you, both of which are included in the pictures of the listing. Seabury made some of the finest prayer books and this beautiful edition gives testimony to that fact. The font is very readable, with large typeface for its size and almost no ghosting whatsoever. I found no writing. The binding is in good, flexible condition. I saw some mild abrasions, but mostly to the spine and the hinges. While it is bonded leather, the bonded leather of the 70s were quite good. I found one exposed signature at the back, a common problem. The page edge gilding is good, with some scratches, but mostly to the top.
