Royal Mail Welsh EIIR Box Post Box Door Insert Sign Collection Time plate & Tab

Description: PLEASE READ THIS LISTING. THIS PLATE FITS EIIR POST BOXES, SCOTTISH TIN BACKS,AND MOST REPRODUCTION BOXES THEY CAN BE CUT DOWN TO SIZE BUT PLEASE CHECK YOUR MEASUREMENTS. PLEASE CHECK THE SIZES AND IF YOU ARE UNSURE PLEASE CONTACT ME. The plate is screen printed and the tab is engraved made to last a long time. You are bidding on ONE PLATE AND ONE TAB ONLY. I have been asked do I have a buy it now price so I am giving you the opportunity to buy instead of bidding. I have a few of these plates and tabs left but they are getting less and less. They are GPO plates (black) like the one's in the 1970s only with the times put in. The blank plate (black) was made like this as the GPO would have put dyno tape on them with the times on it. There is no Royal Mail or GPO logo on these plates as this was the way they were made and this stops you from getting any unwanted mail in your own post box and it is against the law to have Royal Mail or GPO on your post box. These are Post Box collection time plates for EIIR cast iron fronted post boxes and Scottish tin backs. The black plates can have some very small marks on them but need to be truned a certain way to see them. The sizes of the plate are 20 cms x 11 cms approx and the size of the tab is 38mm x 44mm approx. The plates can be trimmed to size if required. I have other sizes of plates and also some Irish ones spare. I have also some other post box spares like locks and plate holders etc. So please contact me. Please let me know your preference of tab at the end of the auction. They will fit EIIR or GVIR tin backs. I have been a post box collector for a number of years and I am getting rid of a few items I no longer require.
