This watch is for somebody that wants the boxes, the paperwork, and a watch that looks a whole lot like it did in 1999 when the watch was first bought. This isn't a watch that I'm going to sell for the same price as somebody that has drug theirs behind their Camaro.The Story...I purchased this watch and made the decision to go all in on bringing it back to its former glory. After doing more research that I thought possible, I sent it off to Michael at RolliWorks. (As an aside, after seeing his work on this watch, I sent him my James Cameron Deepsea. If I were to give him a review- there just aren't enough stars.... THAT good.)I told him do to whatever it needed. And, he did. Full Service (with OEM Rolex parts), new Rolex Bezel, new Rolex Crown- and, a full bracelet restoration. This bracelet is PERFECT. Absolutely beautiful, and absolutely no flex. I'll let the pictures of the watch tell that story. During this service he let me know that the Bezel was not original Rolex- and he replaced it with an OEM Rolex bezel. He also let me know that the bracelet on the watch was also not authentic. I purchase an authentic one and sent it back to Michael to restore to match the watch. Again, fantastic work! He also let me know the crystal was not original Rolex and we didn't replace it. For emphasis- the crystal is not authentic.As can be seen, the watch comes with the original box, original warranty papers, booklets, original hang-tag, and a date stamped warranty card. Again, I received the watch last week and it is unworn post service. Also, additional authentic links have been added to fit my wrist- and, I hate a watch that it tight. I'm guessing it'll probably fit 8" wrists.One last thing. My price is firm. At my asking price, I'm going to be losing money and have decided the maximum I'm going to lose- which got me to my price. If it doesn't get that, I'll just put it back in the safe. Why am I selling? I have this ridiculous problem of believing that beautiful things, like people, deserve saving. One more last thing- why did I go to RolliWorks instead of to Rolex? Rolex (much like Apple, by the way) likes to replace everything. I believe if the original bracelet can be fully restored- do that! Why buy a new one? Also, I spent way too much time in the RolliWorks gallery looking at their work and I continue to be floored by every aspect of their work and their customer service experience.Please view my perfect feedback and bid with confidence.
