There is excellent detail throughout, including railroads, cities, towns, political and administrative boundaries, and natural features, with topography drawn in relief. The coverage area includes present-day Finland, Poland, Ukraine, Crimea, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Caspian Sea, Minsk, Bialystok, Kazan, Lake Ladoga, Kherson, the Black Sea, Novgorod, Lublin, Kharkov, Georgia, Smolensk, and the Caucasus. The image area measures 50.8 x 39.1 cm [20" x 15½"]. Longitude is measured from Greenwich, and the distance scale is calibrated in English miles. The map was drawn by Edouard Desbuissons and engraved by Alexander Sengteller, with lettering by Isidore Dalmont. It was published by J. Migeon in Géographie Universelle, Atlas Migeon, Paris, 1874. Condition: It is in very good condition, with light spotting in the margins and no rips or tears.
