I change tubes every year, and I've installed a new pair of these. That's the reason I'm selling. They have a great mid range and are warm and detailed, a very excellent vintage sound that I can't get with current new tube offerings. I bought this matched set from Kevin Deal at Upscale Audio. They are known as "Japanese Mullards". These have had rave reviews all over the Audio world as a replacement for the ECC88, E88CC and 6922 family of tubes. The National Matsushita PCC88 is considered one of the best sounding low noise replacements for the ECC88, 6922, 6DJ8, E88CC family of tubes. The tube has excellent balance with excellent midrange depth and top end clarity.They come with the original print in the original National red boxes I will ship to the 48 states only.
