The handwrought copper frame has a perforation and is set off by two amber / orange Murano glass with shades in the shape of a binWith a nice patina, near mint, original craftsmanship from 1960s. This Mid-Century Modern indoor and outdoor vintage wall lights was manufactured by A & E Lights Sweden. The sconces have a black lacquered copper frame and and amber Murano glass shades as its unique mouth blown Murano glass diffuser.An absolute strong and sculptural 1960s design! Fantoni studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence before starting to make ceramics in the late 1930s. Over the course of his career, he collaborated with numerous companies, producing a wide variety of objects, from vases and bowls to monumental sculptures. Fantoni was known for his distinctive style, mixing modern forms with traditional manufacturing techniques. He was a leader in the Italian ceramics movement of the 1950s and 1960s, which saw a revival of interest in decorative arts. Fantoni won numerous awards for his work throughout his life, including the Gold Medal at the 1954 Milan Triennale and the Grand Prix at the 1958 Brussels World's Fair.
