Description: Up for sale is a miniature oil lamp in clear glass and an embossed swirl design throughout the bottom and font. This lamp is pictured in Smith's Miniature Lamps book 1 on page figure 475. Although this lamp does not have a matching chimney had does have a nice styled chimney with ribs. The lamp has a brass inlayed threads with patent dates stamped into the glass as pictured. The lamp alone measures 5 1/4" to the top of the collar 9 1/4" to the top of the chimney. This neat little lamp would make a great addition to any lamp or lighting collection!
