Description: Recent North Carolina estate find. Offering a late 18th century Wedgwood Etruria individual, single serving teapot with lid in the blue and white Landscape pattern. We found a chip on the underside of the lid; the portion that sits inside the teapot. No impact to the display value of the piece not the usability. Other than this one inclusion, excellent condition with no other chips, cracks, or stains; extremely light to no evidence of use. The underside is marked with a Wedgwood Etruria mark which dates from 1891 when "England" was added through 1908 when this was changed to "Made in England." There is a prominent letter "A" and if this is a date code, this would correspond to 1898. For its age, this piece is in overall outstanding condition and displays amazingly well.
