Description: Purchased from an estate that contained many antique made in England high end items. This is an original BUCKINGHAM PALACE Royal Mail wood post box. Hand lettered on the top with the official royal seal on the front. Lock in brass but I do not have the key (it is open). Handmade dovetail construction. Not sure where it was used or if they were for letter From Buckingham Palace or To Buckingham Palace but in the time of Queen Elizabeth. Measures 7.75" tall, 8.5" across and 6.75" deep. A piece of History.
