Description: Enchanting abatjour "Conchiglia" (Shell) model in blown artistic Murano glass and brass, produced in Italy in the 1940s and attributable for design, materials and quality to the historic Barovier&Toso company, founded in 1295 in Venice. This rare lamp is composed of two concave parts in transparent glass connected by brass elements: the surface of the glass is smooth and ribbed externally, internally it has a texture created with the grit technique which increases its reflections and embellishes it. The upper shell-shaped diffuser can be rotated on the vertical axis to decide whether or not to show the bulb and therefore adjust the intensity of the light. Questa rara lampada è composta da due parti concave in vetro trasparente raccordate da elementi in ottone: le superficie del vetro è liscia e costolata esternamente, internamente ha una texture creata con tecnica a graniglia che ne aumenta i riflessi e la impreziosisce. Il diffusore superiore a forma di conchiglia può essere ruotato sull'asse verticale per decidere se mostrare o meno la lampadina e regolare dunque l'intensità della luce.
