Description: Beautiful set of 6 Violet teaspoons belonged to my great grandmother and have been sitting in my silver chest for years. Monogrammed E. The pattern seems to be from Whiting, which was taken over by Gorham, so I'm not sure of the age. And not sure why they have P W Taylor engraved on the back. The hallmark on the base of the bowl looks like a late 1800's mark by Gorham. And the M would indicate 1880 as the date if it's Gorham. I'm definitely not an expert on all this!Measure 6", bowl is 1/4" wide. Individual spoons weigh .7 oz, total weight of 6 spoons is 4.3oz
