Description: This is the first pair of Roman earrings that we have owned. This set is roughly first or second century A.D. and were previously owned by a Maryland collector. They have a rich patina and 1.75" long. In our experience, it's rare to find a pair this ornate and mostly intact. The display stand is included with your purchase. Please note that we do not import or export ancient items. Additionally, our items typically come from people and businesses that we know and trust. We tend to avoid buying from unknown sources or individuals because we cannot guarantee that they have obtained their inventory through legitimate and ethical means. Our listings are researched prior to posting and our descriptions are informed by our own knowledge and experience as well as by the vendors from which we obtain our inventory. Thus, our titles and descriptions are our opinions as to the nature and history of the object for sale. These expressed opinions should not be treated as a statement of fact. Buyers should seek further information where inclined. We welcome discussions about concerns or questions PRIOR to purchase.
