This auction is for one vintage, bright yellow ceramic Arched Cat Butt-Up PlanterTactile, hollow, 3-dimensional shape.As a succulent planter, your tall or barrel cactus would serve visually as the kitty's tail.No plants or cactus are included in this auction.Item is unmarked; maker and exact date are unknown; estimate 1940s or 1950s vintage.Glossy surface inside and out.Measures about 3" high, 4 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" deep with a 1" diameter opening.Weighs 7 ounces before packaging.Very good vintage condition. No major chips, no cracks or crazing. One tiny flea bite sized nick on ear tip and some paint loss on eyes. Signs of age and use inside and on the unglazed base. Any other irregularities, flea bites, etc. would be from the manufacturing process.Item's surface has been lightly cleaned for photos. Inside has soiling from previous use.
