This set is done in the Alhambra pattern, which was patented in 1880. This set is old, original production. The handles are decorated with Gothic or Victorian style scrolls and swirls. The cartouches have never been monogrammed. The back of each spoon is marked for Whiting, sterling silver purity and has a retailer's stamp for Jerry Coons.This set is in fabulous condition, especially considering the age.
