Abigail Ybarra came to Fender in 1956 and in ’58 began winding and building pickups. Her hand-wound creations have been installed on Fender's most popular instruments since the late ’50s and were likely on instruments played by Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and countless others. Her pickups have become desirable amongst artists and collectors. These are from 2000 amazing sounding Limited Edition 60’s style, they feature gray bottom bobbins and heavy formvar wire. The middle pickup is reverse wound as shown in the photos they all read neck 5.9 middle 6.0 bridge 6.2 ohms. Pre-wired in a loaded pickguard for a quick and easy swap out to your strat.
