The stamp artist was Art M Fitzpatrick of Carlsbad, CA, who had previously been an advertising designer and illustrator for General Motors. He designed the Packard 4-door convertible and hardtop sedans when he was just 20 years old. He also built custom cars for notable entertainers Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, and Al Jolson.
