Description: 1965 1966 C2 CORVETTE SIDE EXHAUST PIPE COVERS FAST UPS GROUND SHIPPING! 65 5/8" longA two piece set, LH and RHI have identified each cover as #1 and #2 (SEE PICTURES AND VIDEO)Cover #2 has the entirety of the fiberglass insulationCover #1 is missing a fiberglass piece at the neck (SEE PICTURES)Cover #1 heat shield has been warm (SEE PICTURES)The 7th picture after the main picture of #1 shows a slight bend on the neck of the coverEach exhibit signs of heat at the bend/neck of the coverCover #2 fiberglass is in better condition than #1I believe these to be original. I asked the auctioneer if they were original and he believed they were. (Take that for what it is worth)From perusing some Corvette online forums I did read that original heat shields from GM were a dark gray and that light gray shields were for service or over the counter partsI have a buddy who owns a detail shop and he cleaned this up for me.
