Description: This is a vintage A.C. Gilbert Erector Set. The inside label is dated 1935 & the brown booklet is dated 1934. The blue booklet is a later edition dated 1954. The red enameled metal case measures 16" by 8" & is rather shabby. The paint is worn, chipped, soiled & stained. The paper label on the outer lid is partially intact but very dark & discolored. The metal clips & handle show rust & soil. The paper label inside the lid is all intact & very vibrant. Includes all sorts of parts, including a 4 large wheels & a small cardboard parts box with small screws & parts inside. The pieces show wear & paint loss on the enameled pieces.
