Description: Presented is a fine set of 12 coin silver forks made by Gorham Manufacturing Company. The forks are done in the Olive pattern. I believe these forks were made around 1855. They are monogrammed with HFoC on the ends of the handles. The forks are marked on the reverse with Gorham’s old company hallmarks. The lack of any other hallmarks clearly indicates an early production date for this company, almost certainly in the 1850s. These spoons are tested and guaranteed to be at least 900 purity silver, coin silver. The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. The forks are 7 inches long. The weight is 515.6 grams or 18.1 ounces. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
